At 19 years old, Tyree Wallace was sentenced to life in prison for the 1997 killing of a Point Breeze deli owner. Ever since, he argued that he was innocent. We spoke to Wallace, who is now CEO of the nonprofit Systemic Reformative Change, and David Perry, from the law firm Blank Rome and the band Athensville, 70 days after Wallace was released.
