In their first match back in MLS play following their exit from League's Cup, FC Cincinnati took an L at TQL in a battle with Charlotte. Despite the loss, we saw some encouraging things: the return of Kevin Denkey and the speed of Echinique.
But we also saw the departure of midfielder, Brian Anunga on a red card following video review. But for those who stayed a little later, the night was redeemed when the FC Cincinnati alumni took the field in 30 minute friendly that saw the blue team win it on a brace by Emery Welschman.
