Cincinnati Reds legend Wayne Granger, a key reliever for the Big Red Machine era, passed away at 81. Traded to the Reds in 1968, Granger excelled as a closer, setting franchise records with 27 saves in 1969 and 35 in 1970. His contributions earned him the Fireman of the Year award and a spot in the Reds Hall of Fame in 1982.
