Show Notes
Taft High School students in Cincinnati embarked on an entrepreneurial journey during Black History Month, thanks to Black Wall Street Entrepreneurship Day. Organized by local Black business owner Nzingha Byrd and her Sweet Sistah Splash nonprofit, the event provided hands-on lessons from community mentors. This partnership, now in its third year, aims to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs through representation. Meanwhile, Sweet Sistah Splash is gearing up for a Teen Summit in April and the revival of their Afro Swag Hair and Fashion Show, while also expanding mental health services at Taft.
