Police in Colerain Township, Ohio, have apprehended a suspect in a brutal home invasion that left one man critically injured. Ishmeal Mayfield, aged 28, faces charges of felonious assault and aggravated burglary. The incident occurred on Thursday morning when Mayfield allegedly broke into a home, stabbed the resident multiple times, and struck him with a shovel. The victim was rushed to UC Medical Center for treatment. Mayfield was later found and taken into custody at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
