Three Ohio airmen, Captain Curtis Angst, Captain Seth Koval, and Master Sergeant Tyler Simmons, lost their lives in a KC-135 tanker crash in Iraq on March 12th. Their remains are returning home for a dignified transfer on March 18th. The crash, not caused by enemy fire, is under investigation. The airmen, with strong community ties, will be honored with funerals in Ohio after the transfer.
