Captain Curtis Angst, a 30-year-old from Ohio, was one of six U.S. servicemembers killed in a KC-135 fueling tanker crash near the Iraq-Jordan border. Angst, a pilot with the Ohio Air National Guard, served with the 166th Air Refueling Squadron and earned a degree in aerospace engineering. He leaves behind his wife, family, and many friends.
