After 80 years, a Marine Raider from Cincinnati, PFC Norton V. Retzsch, has been identified and will be laid to rest. Retzsch, who served with an elite commando unit in the Pacific, died in 1943 during a firefight on New Georgia Island. His remains were identified through modern forensics, and he will be buried in Arizona with a public memorial in Cincinnati.
