Boone County deputies arrested Richard Zornes, a 56-year-old man, after he fired a shotgun at a womans home in Burlington, grazing her head. The incident occurred on Locust Grove Road, where Zornes confronted the woman hed been involved with. He fled the scene but was later found hiding in the woods near his home. Zornes is now charged with attempted murder, illegal firearm possession, and terroristic threatening.
