In the ongoing bribery trial against former FirstEnergy executives Michael Dowling and Chuck Jones, the defense has requested U.S. Senator Jon Husted of Ohio to testify via video on March thirteenth. Husted, who prefers to stay in Washington during U.S. military actions against Iran, has asked for remote permission. The request came up earlier this week in court, outside the jurys presence.
