Show Notes

U.S. Air Force boom operator Tyler Simmons from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life in a refueling plane crash in Iraq on March twelfth. The incident, which occurred during Operation Epic Fury, was not due to enemy or friendly fire. Simmons, a graduate of Eastmoor Academy and a member of the Ohio National Guards one hundred twenty-first Air Refueling Wing, was honored as a hero by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. The wing continues its missions with KC-one thirty-five Stratotankers, as the investigation into the crash unfolds.
