Acts 9:1-22 Last week we spoke of the waiting.... This call to Go is about God’s power, in God’s timing for God’s glory.
This week we focus on the idea of surrender... In order to answer the call to “Go” we each must choose to surrender.
It is impossible to please God without complete surrender.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO SURRENDER?SIN.... -Unrepentant sin separates us from God -When we have repented of sin, we must surrender: -The things that used to define us -Memories of past hurt, disappointment, failure -Shame
CONTROL.... -Control is about SELF -My interest -My blessings -My expectations -ME, ME, ME
FEAR... -Fear of the unknown -Fear of failure -Fear of rejection
