A Brigham Young University journalism graduate in 2017, she interned for the <a href="https://www.deseret.com/authors/sydney-jorgensen/">Deseret News&rsquo; Faith section</a>, worked as an <a href="https://www.thechurchnews.com/2021/7/24/23265481/councils-church-headquarters-sydney-walker/">assistant in the Priesthood and Family Department</a> at Church headquarters and later became a reporter at the Church News.
