Behind the scenes of RootsTech 2026: Bringing families ‘Together’

<p dir="ltr"><a href="http://www.rootstech.org/">RootsTech</a>, a three-day global family history event, is scheduled for March 5-7. The gathering will reach a worldwide audience online while also featuring an in-person experience in Salt Lake City.</p> <p dir="ltr">This year&rsquo;s theme is "<a href="https://www.thechurchnews.com/members/2025/12/17/rootstech-2026-theme-together-global-emcees-worldwide-family-history-genealogy/">Together</a>," and organizers hope to empower attendees to uncover their family history and make new, meaningful connections. The <a href="https://www.thechurchnews.com/living-faith/2026/02/27/how-to-attend-2026-rootstech-conference-familysearch/">lineup for 2026</a> includes <a href="https://www.thechurchnews.com/2015/10/15/23222708/elder-ronald-a-rasband-apostle-2015">Elder Ronald A.
