Revelation Series: These chapters weave together the triumphant judgment of God, the celebration of Christ's union with His people, and the ultimate defeat of evil. They emphasize that God is faithful to His word—He alone executes justice, so believers are freed from taking vengeance into their own hands. As God's workmanship, His people are called to lives of good works, which are pictured as the pure linen garments worn at the heavenly wedding feast. Though everyone is invited into this union with Christ, only those who truly choose Him become part of His bride. Jesus returns in power, effortlessly defeating the forces of darkness, while Satan is bound and Christ reigns on earth for a thousand years—a period marked by peace, restored creation, and righteous rule shared with resurrected believers. Yet even after such a perfect era, some still choose rebellion when Satan is briefly released, demonstrating the necessity of genuine choice. God then brings final judgment at the great white throne, where those not found in the Book of Life face the second death. Through it all, these chapters underscore God's justice, Christ's victory, the reward of faithful obedience, and the eternal consequences of rejecting Him.
