What Blocks God from Increasing Your Business
Daily Study Many Christian entrepreneurs want God to increase their business, but growth does not always stop for financial or strategic reasons. This Daily Word examines a leadership principle from 3 John that reveals how truth must be able to move freely through a business for God to scale and sustain it. Using the examples of Gaius, Diotrephes, and Demetrius, this message shows how hospitality allows truth to flow, ego blocks correction, and integrity sustains long-term growth. It also highlights John's warning not to imitate what is evil, explaining how unguarded success can quietly reshape standards and undermine alignment. Christian entrepreneurs are encouraged to examine whether their leadership posture allows truth, accountability, and goodness to govern their decisions so God can trust their business with increase. __________ 3 John 1 CSB, Hebrews 13:1-2 TPT, Romans 12:13 TPT, Proverbs 16:18 ERV, James 4:6 NLT, Proverbs 11:3 MSG, Luke 16:10 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Why Did Jesus Lead Backwards?
Daily Word Most leadership models are built on power, visibility, and control. Jesus led in the opposite direction, through humility, service, sacrifice, and obedience to the Father. This message explores why leading like Jesus is not just spiritually admirable but structurally superior, historically disruptive, and eternally relevant. We'll look at how Jesus redefined leadership in a culture obsessed with hierarchy, what the original Hebrew and Greek reveal about His approach, and why modern leaders fail when they ignore His model. Ultimately, these points us back to Jesus, not as a leadership idea, but as the living example we are called to follow. __________ Mark 10:42–45 NIV, 1 Samuel 15 NIV, John 13:3–17 NIV, Philippians 2:5–11 NIV, Isaiah 42:1–4 NIV, Matthew 20:25–28 NIV, Luke 22:26–27 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Assignments are not callings
Bible Study God's callings and God's assignments are not the same. An assignment is a specific instruction from God, often temporary, that serves a purpose within or alongside a lifelong calling. Abraham was called to be the father of many nations, yet his life was shaped by a series of assignments—leaving his homeland, walking in covenant, and obeying step by step—even when he didn't fully understand the calling. In the same way, Peter was called to be a fisher of people, but he still received short-term assignments like catching a fish to meet a temporary need. Jonah was called to be a prophet to Israel, yet God gave him a side assignment to go to Nineveh, proving that even assignments outside our main calling matter deeply to God. Assignments can change, come and go, and even feel uncomfortable, but they must be obeyed faithfully. We are not meant to live in assignments forever, but to complete them and return to walking in our calling. Ultimately, assignments are what we do for God, but a calling is who God made us to be. __________ Genesis 12:1–4 NLT, Genesis 17:1–5 NLT, Matthew 4:18–19 NLT, Matthew 17:27 NLT, 2 Kings 14:25 NLT, Jonah 1:1–4 NLT, Jonah 1:15–17 NLT, Jonah 2:7,10 NLT, Jonah 3:1–3 NLT, Jonah 3:6–10 NLT, Jonah 4:1–3 NLT, Jonah 4:11 NLT, Nahum 3:1 NLT, Zephaniah 2:13 NLT, Genesis 17:4 NLT, Genesis 12:1 NLT, Matthew 4:19 KJV, Matthew 17:27 NLT, 2 Kings 14:25 NLT, Jonah 1:2 NLT, Romans 11:29 NLT, Romans 1:1 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________
The "right look" is not required for leadership
To lead, you don't need to lose weight, dye your hair, change your eye color, or do anything else society finds attractive. Your ability to lead is not based on what's attractive to society, but the anointing that's on your life. This is critical to know because if you think (or even slightly think) your ability to lead is tied to looking like what society finds attractive, then you will fail. __________ Isaiah 53:2 NLT, 1 Samuel 16:6-7 NLT, 1 Samuel 9:1-2 NLT, Matthew 4:23-25 NLT, 1 Peter 3:3-4 NLT, 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 NLT, 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV, Romans 12:2 KJV, Proverbs 23:7 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Overcoming Unanswered Prayers, Choosing Relationships Over Achievement, Finding Success Through Contentment, and More
Open Forum The discussion emphasized persistent faith and prayer amid unanswered requests, encouraging believers to trust God's timing, remain open to the Holy Spirit's guidance, and engage in continual self-reflection. Through personal stories and shared experiences, the group explored how delayed or denied prayers can foster growth, protection, and deeper trust, whether in relationships, singleness, marriage, or personal ambitions. They highlighted the importance of contentment and maturity in every season of life, prioritizing love, relationships, and obedience to God's will over material success or comfort. Ultimately, the conversation underscored that true fulfillment comes from aligning one's life with God's purposes, embracing life's struggles, and faithfully seeking His direction in all circumstances. Simple 2026
Many of us have been walking out our calling for a while, and over time, we've accumulated programs, products, and responsibilities that have cluttered our original purpose. In the beginning, our calling is like a cute baby tiger—exciting and manageable—but as it grows, if not carefully tended, it can kill us. In the same way, our calling can become overwhelming when burdened with things we've added, things others have added, or elements that are outdated. God is calling us to make 2026 a year of simplicity. In 2026, it's time to erase—remove the parts of the vision that don't belong; declutter—let go of products, programs, and services that are outdated or off-mission; and focus—devote ourselves only to what aligns with our true purpose. As we simplify in 2026, we realign with the original intent of our calling and make room for the necessary pivots that were once hidden by the clutter. __________ 2 Corinthians 1:12–24 NLT, Acts 6:1–7 NLT, Proverbs 19:21 NIV, Proverbs 3:5–6 NIV, Acts 1:8 NLT, Matthew 28:18–20 NLT, 1 Corinthians 7:32–34 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Gifts (Talents) Are Not Your Calling
Bible Study God gives every believer gifts, but those gifts are not the calling itself—they are tools meant to serve the calling. Scripture shows that while gifts are diverse and present throughout a person's life, the calling is the God-ordained purpose those gifts advance. Like the craftsmen who built what Moses was called to lead, or Joseph whose lifelong administrative skill and ability to interpret dreams positioned him to preserve Israel, gifts consistently showed up in daily responsibilities long before the calling was fully revealed. Joseph faithfully used his gifts in every season—at home, in slavery, and in prison—without fully understanding where God was leading, yet God directed each step. The lesson is not to confuse skill with destiny: use what God has given you wherever you are, trust Him with the timing, and allow faithful obedience in the present to lead you clearly into your calling when the time is right. __________ Romans 12:3–8 NLT, Exodus 31:1–6 NLT, Genesis 37:5–7 NLT, Genesis 39:2–6 NLT, Genesis 37:2 NLT, Genesis 39:21–23 NLT, Genesis 40:1–4 NLT, Genesis 40:12–13 NLT, Genesis 40:18–22 NLT, Genesis 41:25–27 NLT, Genesis 41:32 NLT, Genesis 41:33–37 NLT, Genesis 41:39–41 NLT, Genesis 42:6–9 NLT, Genesis 45:5–8 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Having Appropriate Racial Sensitivity Conversations Within the Body of Christ
Open Forum During the forum, Pastor Amos confirmed that CFE continues to offer a ministry ordination process through a free online school, a structured ministry plan, and a 3-month practicum. Sophie, already ordained, showed interest in learning more, while Rosalind inquired about receiving the Holy Ghost as described in Acts 2:38. Pastor Amos clarified the difference between the indwelling of the Holy Spirit at salvation and the separate experience of baptism in the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. He and Rosalind also discussed differing interpretations of "tarrying" for the Holy Spirit. CFE's Atlanta events, including an annual conference and future gatherings, were mentioned, and Pastor Amos explained the meanings of names like Jesus, Yeshua, and Yahweh. Conversations about financial goals encouraged faith-based planning without anxiety. Pastor Amos stressed church flexibility and the importance of ministering like Jesus. He and Derrick emphasized Christian unity beyond cultural divisions, encouraging believers to overcome racial biases and focus on shared identity in Christ. Cynthia sought guidance on navigating cultural sensitivities, while Stephanie, Cynthia, and Pastor Amos explored the value of cross-racial friendships and empathy in conversations about race. Rosalind's experiences highlighted the importance of transparency and diversity within the church, and the group agreed to continue these discussions throughout the year. Our Hope is Anchored in God
Biblical hope is a sure and confident expectation rooted in God's faithfulness, not wishful thinking like the world defines it. For believers, this hope anchors the soul, giving stability and empowering us to live holy lives, firmly secured in God's unchanging presence through Jesus. Our hope is not tied to earthly circumstances but is connected to heaven itself, making it steadfast and secure. God promises a hopeful future, and we activate that hope by seeking Him wholeheartedly through prayer and obedience. Because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, our hope in Him will never lead to shame, but instead fills us with joy, peace, and an ever-increasing overflow of hope. __________ 1 Peter 1:15 NIV, Hebrews 6:19 NIV, Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, Jeremiah 29:12-13 NIV, Romans 5:5 NIV, Romans 15:14 NIV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

How to correctly study the Bible
Studying the Bible correctly requires rightly dividing Scripture, beginning with an understanding of the difference between the Old and New Covenants. The Old Covenant was conditional and based on the law, while the New Covenant is rooted in grace, where believers live as sons and daughters of God through faith. Not every biblical passage is doctrinal; many narratives serve as case studies that reveal human failure or flawed thinking that God later addresses. Scripture must be read through the lens of the New Covenant, learning from examples without interpreting every account as a directive for how believers should live today. __________ Matthew 19:3–9 KJV, Deuteronomy 24:1–2 KJV, Acts 17:29–30 KJV, Genesis 2:23–24 KJV, Genesis 3:6 KJV, 1 Timothy 2:14 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Marriage is not what we think it is
Marriage should come with a warning label. The divorce rate is almost 50%, and the younger you get married, the higher the likelihood of divorce. The reason for such statistics is that most of us don't understand what marriage is and the maturity required to live a married life. __________ Matthew 19:10–12 MSG, Genesis 2:18 KJV, 1 Corinthians 7:32–34 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________

Focus is the secret sauce to success
Lack of talent or anointing is not the reason many believers are unsuccessful in their calling. The real culprit is a lack of focus. Without focus, success is slow at best and nowhere to be found at worst. __________ Romans 12:1–3 KJV, Hebrews 12:1–2 KJV, Matthew 15:24 NLT, Matthew 10:5–7 NLT, John 14:12 KJV, 1 Chronicles 28:2–6 NLT __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________
Success is built on true motives
If you ask most Christians why they want success in business, they'll say something like, "to make a lot of money, so I can extend the kingdom of God." This is a noble motivation, but most Christians who say this are lying to themselves, because they believe God would not approve of their true motive. Here's the problem: when you lie to yourself about why you want success, you won't be successful. Success is built on true motives. And guess what, if your true motive is to make a lot of money to have an enjoyable life for you and your family, God is cool with that. Listen to today's message to learn more about this concept, so you can have an honest conversation with yourself about your motives for success. __________ Psalm 35:27 KJV, Ecclesiastes 5:19 KJV, 1 Timothy 5:8 KJV, Genesis 30:30 KJV, 1 Corinthians 7:33–34 KJV, Proverbs 13:22 KJV, Psalm 112:1,3,9 KJV, Acts 20:35 KJV, Psalm 37:4 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________
God is not micromanaging your decisions
The vision God has given you requires many decisions that need to be made for you to accomplish it, from simple decisions like the color of your website to major decisions like where should your business or ministry be located. So, is God directing every single decision you need to make? Not really. It is more like a partnership with God than God being a dictator. He is not micromanaging every decision you need to make in your calling. __________ Exodus 14:15–16 KJV, John 11:21–23 KJV, Genesis 2:19 KJV, John 14:12–14 KJV, John 15:7 KJV, 1 John 5:14–15 KJV, James 4:3 KJV, Acts 16:6–7, 9–10 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com Leave a Comment: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/comments __________
Criticizing another Christian can derail your success
It is very tempting to criticize another Christian when we see them doing something that goes against our understanding of scripture. For example, you see a pastor asking her followers to sow into her ministry, so she can purchase a private jet. Perhaps you see a Christian music artist starting to sing secular music. Maybe a Christian entrepreneur is operating his business differently than you would expect of a Christian. And the list can go on and on. Here's the problem: when you criticize another Christian as they are operating in their calling, you're not really criticizing them, you're criticizing God. This puts your own calling in jeopardy and limits your own success. Merry, Merry Christmas!
I don't have a Daily Word for you today—I just wanted to come on and wish you a merry Christmas. Enjoy time with your family and friends. If you don't have family to connect with this Christmas, find someone to serve. Serving others is one of the best things you can do on Christmas, whether you're with family or not. So make it a point to serve someone today. As you go through Christmas Day, take time to pray for those who may be hurting or missing loved ones during this season. Reach out to someone you haven't spoken to in a while. Share your love with them. Check in and make sure they're doing okay. I pray you're having a joyful Christmas, and I'll be back with another Daily Word tomorrow. Be blessed, and I'll talk to you soon.
Through faith receive your due season
It may seem like you have been working endlessly to accomplish your vision with little to no success. But whatever God has called you to do, it has a due season for success. However, the caveat to receiving your due season is not to quit and not to lose faith. In today's message, build up your faith to step into your due season. New success requires a new you
There are many reasons why we may not see results in our callings—some are beyond our control, while others are within it. One factor we can control is our personal growth. It's not about physical growth, but about who we are becoming. The person you are today must develop into the person required for tomorrow's success, because reaching the next level in your calling demands a new version of you. Don't condemn yourself for not having achieved more in your calling
When God gives you a calling, He is not putting pressure on you to achieve it all within a certain time frame. He has given you your entire life to fulfill your calling. If you feel pressure, that pressure is coming from Satan, not God. Therefore, don't condemn yourself for not having achieved more by some artificial due date. Instead, enjoy the journey, and achieve your calling free from time considerations. Take a listen to today's message to learn more about this concept. You are worthy to succeed in your calling
In order to achieve success in your calling, you first have to believe you deserve success. However, many people feel like they are unworthy of success due to past sins, mistakes, and/or missteps. Most of us have done things we are not proud of, but God stills finds you worthy of success. You are worthy of achieving the calling that He has placed in your heart.
