This video I answer a very common question related to the Google customer identification number "CID" that is given to your business and every other Google my business.
A very common question that I received is where should I be building backlinks to my Google my business share link, Google my business CID URL, or should I even be building backlinks to my Google Maps listing.
And it's not that you should be building massive amounts of backlinks to your Google my business identification number it's that you should be strategically building links for your GMB property so that you can send traffic through those links more notably authoritative highly topically relevant traffic through those backlinks to your Google Maps or Google my business listing.
The active building backlinks is not what you are trying to do you're trying to generate traffic and interest to your Google my business listing.
