As the deer season is winding down in much of the country, hunters with tags still not punched are looking for late season opportunities. This week, Chris Taylor and I sit down and discuss some late season hunting tactics for whitetails. Mature bucks are usually run down after the rut and only one thing is on their mind. That is food. Finding good reliable food sources is critical for getting a late season buck. We discuss food plots, mast crops, and more as we bring the season to a close.
