Once again I go head-to-head with Dr. Gavin Ortlund, this time over the scale of the flood.Was it local? Was it Global? Most importantly, what does the Bible say?Let's get into it!

Often it can feel divisive to insist on specifics of Lutheran theology, after all, wouldn't it be easier to get along with others if we overlooked the things that make us different?But if Christ was specific with His love for us, then we have an obligation to be specific in how we act out our love for others, in what we practice, believe, and teach.

I am begging you at this point to pay attention. The world is telling you that being an involved parent is a bad thing, that its invasive, controlling, everything except responsible.If you knew how active and involved the secular world is in trying to raise your children, and how they are doing it, you would be desperate to claw back every ounce of influence you still have in their lives.Let's get into it.

Dr. Ortlund does not believe that the Bible describes a 6-day creation.
