We begin a new series through the book of Exodus, which tells the story of Israel’s divinely-orchestrated deliverance from slavery for the purpose of serving as God’s chosen, priestly kingdom amidst the nations. The Exodus is foundational to the story of the Bible. In fact, we cannot fully understand the Gospel if we do not fully understand the Exodus. As we look back on our family history as the people of God, there is much for us to learn and apply.
