The world will pressure believers to make small compromises with their faith, and we must resist these temptations to live like the world that is in darkness. We are reserved for God, and when we stand boldly on our faith, the enemy will use all manner of attacks to cause believers to stumble. In every life there are not only challenges; but great difficulties even impossibilities. Wayward children, aging parents, betrayal, abandonment, overwhelming pain, sorrow and loss. What is a christian to do here and how do they navigate it successfully? Is it will alone, or is there a divine enablement to give us clarity, strength and a promise of victory? This message will examine this grace of God than not only "saved us" but is "saving us still"!

The crucifixion and resurrection are facts, but they are not faith. One must be born again, born anew, sealed with the spirit of God and walk in humility and obedience with and before God. The RESPONSE does not save us, but it proves the reality of divine life imparted. Join us tomorrow as we examine these truths and ourselves to make sure that our response is equal to the sacrifice

The Day of the Lord will include both the rapture (the Lord coming for his saints in the clouds) and the revelation (the Lord coming to the earth with his saints. The Rapture of the church is more than a doctrine, more than a promise, more than a reality; it is a deep seated, personal belief that transforms the day to day life of the believer in every way. As foretold in the scriptures, there would be scoffers in the last days; but it is up to us to keep it front and center of our thoughts an priorities. Get Ready.....Christ is at the door

In the swift currents and rising tides of this world, many people that we know have been swept away from their moorings, through sin, loss, tragedy or trauma; sinking before our very eyes. We have been eye witnesses to others who have sailed out, only to never been seen or heard from again. So with so many sinking, so many being swept away; it behooves us to know how we as believers experience the buoyancy necessary to survive the deep and tumultious places of our journey. Our God not only saves those that come unto him, but KEEPS them as well!

What is this divine election, this personal illumination, that evokes an absolute surrender and supernatural empowerment to realize the divine intentions and purposes of God in the life of the individual. It is somewhat mystical, altogether supernatural, and as real as the air that you are breathing. To the called and the ones who do not know that they are called; this message is for you

This is the story of how God gave me an assignment, and I encourage everyone to allow the Lord to reveal the assignment He has for your life. Let us all participate in our mission to "Send the Whole" as we are able

We mend the broken by the interjection of our lives into the circumstances and situations of others, with care, gentleness and the right medicine to bring one back to life and health. When they proclaimed that it was the samaritan that was the true neighbor to the wounded man, Jesus replied, "then you go and do likewise". Nothing has changed, it is his will, his command and his expectation. Have you drifted? Are you spending your life on yourself or are you investing it in others.

Reflecting on 30 years of Christ Chapel

As we continue our series on Missional Drift, we will next examine our commitment to Disciple the Found. Every believer has been commissioned by Jesus to make disciples by going into the world, teaching what Jesus taught, and baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As faithful followers of Christ and participants of a local church body, each of us should be actively learning and patiently teaching others. Let us all run our race for the glory of the Lord

The mandate of Christ to go into all the world means nothing to us or them if it is not the gospel of the bible. This glorious gospel is simple, exclusive and sufficient

Many believers have fallen into the trap of claiming a salvation, all the while ignoring the responsibilities of it. Yes, we are saved by grace through faith so that we might know God and love him forever; but he has sent us into the world just as he did his son - "To seek and to save that which is lost". How can they hear without a preacher, and how can one preach if he has not been sent! (hint: YOU HAVE BEEN SENT)

We, who are in Christ have all experienced the unintentional loss of ground, closeness, power and joy of living in and near Jesus. This is different than the rebellious heart, that is determined to have it's way, regardless of God's design or desire; in fact, it happens through the steady of current of the spirit of this age, pulling us away from the things and THE ONE that ultimately matters. But the scriptural cure is simple. Remember, Repent, Redo

All of us should be prepared to share the Gospel with those that are lost and hurting. However, we may not be clear on why we should share, how to share, or how to clearly present the fundamental truths of the Gospel. Today we exhort all believers to participate in the Great Commission and be ready to share the Gospel to anyone that would receive the power of God unto salvation

The fulfillment of the scriptures of the coming of the lamb of God, to die for the sins of the people - IS - the Christmas story; for unto us a savior was born, who is Christ the Lord! But in this story, right under the surface, there are some secondary truths found that are still precious, powerful and applicable for us today.

This parable reveals to us all our universal lostness, and the desire and efforts of God to rescue us from our sin and judgment.

It is one thing to have a heart full of gratitude but quite another to express it. To express it loudly, passionately, publicly and privately. To express it with sincere joy and appreciation for the many, many blessings bestowed upon us through Christ; remembering that God did not do these things because we are good, but instead because He is good

The bible tells us guard, garrison, protect our heart, because out of it flows the issues of life. It is this often overlooked fact that we are the gatekeeper of our own heart. Christ gave us a new one, but he put us in charge of making sure it stays connected to the vine and protected from every enemy.

Today we draw out principles of stewardship from the parable of the talents found in the Gospel of Matthew. We are blessed with much in America, and with much blessing comes much responsibility. Join us as we examine the Scripture for a practical and applicable framework to help guide our stewardship of time, gifts, and resources in this last hour.

I believe by God's spirit this message will be enlightening to those who feel like they are walking in darkness, strength for those who are weak, motivation for the stagnant, clarity for the confused, and healing for the hurting. God has not gone anywhere and His Plans are still in force; you just gotta make it to your next place in God.

Join us as we face the reality of the circumstances faced by those that follow Christ faithfully. The world hates the light, but Jesus sustains all that belong to Him. We that are redeemed are kept by God, for He always has, and He always will, be faithful to His Word. God will keep all that belong to Him, and we are His.

Today we will compare the wisdom of the world with the wisdom of God to discover why many become so offended with the simplicity of the Gospel. God's wisdom is perfect, timeless, and leads us to glory. Conversely, worldly wisdom is corrupt, makes us arrogant, and leads us to destruction. Join us as we examine the better way to sojourn as we live in this world, but are not of this world.

As believers we are keenly aware of the global condition of sin as well as our own experience. From the darkness before our new birth, to the painful and discouraging experience of our sinfulness after conversion. As we examine the why of our sinfulness; maybe then we can turn back to the "who" that is worthy of our choice of holiness.

This message will carefully examine what is told us in the scriptures about the man Elijah and the effectual prayers that moved heaven and shook a nation. The base foundation of our message is found in the book of James where we find out; that Elijah was no different than us in his makeup and or opportunities.... only difference is that HE PRAYED

"Forgiven, but not living like it". In it we will be examining the divine expectations and intentions of God for our lives found in the scriptures and the old/weak fig leaves believers for generations have used to try and cover their nakedness. There is not only a glory found in grace, but a responsibility, a response, an expectation to follow the Lord into all the ways and graces where he abides. Don't let the world and carnal believers dull your senses to what is valuable and necessary for the believer to walk closely with God.

In the old testament, the Israelites (like us all) were under the judgment of God and many of them died; but God in his mercy gave them a divine remedy of mercy, that only involved their faith. So it is with us today; all that troubles us and the sin that creates it can be dealt with by looking upon the remedy; which is Christ lifted up for our sins. Looking at him genuinely, exclusively......nothing more, nothing less. No wonder they call HIS GRACE amazing

This is not a self-help talk or just mans attempt at encouraging those who are down, weary and or defeated; but instead, an examination of the scriptures that shed light on our journeys here on the earth and remind us that we have everything inside of us (by his spirit) to continue in, endure and finish all things. Regardless of who you are, where you are, and what is behind you... if you are fully surrendered to Christ, his power is sufficient to see you to the end
