As we speedily approach the return of the Lord Jesus Christ for his church, much of christianity seems to be departing from the true faith and becoming inactive and/or reserved when it comes to the deposits God has made in their lives and the ministry he has called them to. When it comes to our calling, gifts, and service; others cannot stir it and God will not. He leaves that to us.

This story reveals to us the measure and the depths God will go with us to break the pattern of our old life and bring us into that which he has predestined us to be.

We live in a day and age in the West where you can describe the christian faith in many ways, but "a battle" is not one of them. We speak of purpose, our best life, new dimensions, and new seasons...but the spiritual battle in the heavenlies rages on. The kingdom of heaven still suffers violence, and the violent still take it by force.
