Welcome back to Running the 40, today we are talking to former NFL Wide Receiver JJ Birden. was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 8th round of the 1988 draft out of the University of Oregon. He spent the better part of his career in the Kansas City Chiefs organization before ending his career with the Atlanta Falcons. Birden was a two-sport athlete in college, running track, while also playing football. He came into the NFL running a 4.3 40-Yard dash and left the NFL still running a 4.3 40-Yard dash. Since hanging up his cleats, he has become a motivational speaker, speaking to companies all over the globe.
