The CHGO Bulls crew continues their individual player evaluations of the 2021-22 season with Troy Brown Jr and Tony Bradley. After a short stint post-trade in the 2020-21 season, Troy Brown Jr didn't make much headway in his first full season with the Bulls. He spent large portions of the year out of Billy Donovan's main rotation, and only saw significant minutes when the team was significantly shorthanded. The small forward will be a restricted free agent this summer, and is still young enough that his game can improve if he seizes the right opportunity. But whether that's in Chicago or somewhere else remains to be seen. Tony Bradley served as an occasional backup center behind Nikola Vucevic, but Donovan was true to his resume in preferring to go with smaller lineups most of the time. He was thrust into a much more prominent role when Patrick Williams broke his wrist just 5 games into the season. With another year left on a very team-friendly deal, he’s almost certain to return next season. But what will his role be? Matt and Big Dave break down the Bulls 116-100 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 on Wednesday night, ending the Bulls 2021-22 season. Without the services of Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso, the Bulls continued their three-point shooting woes in Game 5 as the Bucks jumped out to an early lead and controlled the game from wire to wire. The Bulls shot a franchise-record 52 threes, making just 15 of them. The Bucks stuck with their strategy of daring anyone other than DeMar DeRozan to beat them, and it worked again to perfection. The Bulls are in big trouble, trailing the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks 3-1 in their first round playoff series. DeMar DeRozan has no room to get to the basket, seeing regular double teams and giant Bucks defenders packing the paint.
