British baby Charlie Gard from Bedfont, London, was born with a rare genetic condition known as mitochondrial DNA depletion syndrome that causes progressive brain damage and muscle failure, including the muscles needed to breathe. After his family fought the government over his care, little Charlie passed away. Jeffy takes a moment to pay respects.
