Stamford Chidge is joined by Dan Silver, Clayton Beerman and Chelsea author and football writer Mark Worrall to digest a somewhat depressing week for Chelsea. It’s hard to remember a worse week in recent times following Chelsea as we limply exited both the Champions League and the FA Cup. All this seemed to be compounded by Costa apparently being sent off for biting Everton’s Gareth Barry – whilst all of us can understand the desire to do Barry serious injury, thankfully Costa pulled his chompers away at the last second thereby avoiding a dreaded Luis Suarez scenario. In reality the only thing to bite was the realization that these two defeats mean that our season is over by March for the first time since the 90’s and an uncertain future awaits the club, players and supporters alike. On the show tonight we’ll be discussing what the Cost of Costa is to the club - is he a liability worth putting up with and with Lukaku scoring twice to put us out of the Cup – should the Chelsea brains trust be...
