In 1998, a medical journal published an early report that looked into the relationship between inflammatory bowel disease, the MMR vaccine, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The paper itself found nothing conclusive and no link has ever been proven. And yet this belief still spread rapidly…thanks to one man.
