しつけのために子どもに体罰をすることについて、約4割の大人が容認していることが、公益社団法人のセーブ・ザ・チルドレン・ジャパンの調査でわかった。2017年の前回調査から2割減ったが、依然高止まりしている。同法人は、子どもの成長に体罰が深刻な影響を与えることの周知など、より効果的な啓発が必要としている。
