20th edition of International Animation Film Festival of Meknes pays tribute to the Simpsons

The 20th edition of the International Animation Film Festival of Meknes (FICAM) paid a special tribute to Veronique Augereau and Philippe Peythieu for the Simpsons animated series. This edition has chosen these animated series, following their popularity among audiences of all ages in French-speaking countries, including Morocco. The event was an opportunity to celebrate the talent of its actors, transmitting emotions through their vocals and visuals. Additionally, many international stars voiced the Simpsons’ different characters, including the Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, and Snoop Dog. Recently, US star Billie Eilish said that she was the guest-starring in the new streaming of The Simpsons animated series, the singer announced on Twitter. Eilish was the guest-starring in the “When Billie Met Lisa” episode, which was streamed on Disneyplus on April 22.
