Perry Bennett, the state Legislatures go-to photographer, secured his second consecutive Photographer of the Year award at the Professional Photographers of West Virginias annual convention. The event, held from March 6th to 8th, saw thirty members participate in workshops and skill-building sessions. The juried image competition featured 223 entries, with 127 earning merit scores. Bennetts 25 entries resulted in 19 merit scores, securing his top spot. Other notable awardees included Susie Herndon, Mike Maxson, and Edwin Bo Wriston, who received the Joseph Barta Award and new Certified Professional Photographer badges, respectively.
