Wie man NetBox mit anderen Tools sprechen lassen kann. <br> Die Open Source Software NetBox eignet sich gut um Computernetzwerke zu modellieren und dokumentieren. Ich will darüber reden, was ich im vergangenen Jahr mit Hilfe von NetBox im Bereich der Netzwerkinfrastruktur automatisiert habe. Dabei soll es explizit nicht um die Konfiguration einzelner Netzwerkgeräte wie Switches oder Router gehen, sondern vielmehr um Systeme wie Monitoring, DNS und Zero-Touch-Provisioning. NetBox ist sowohl als IPAM- (IP Address Management) als auch als DCIM- (Datacenter Inventroy Management) Tool einsetzbar. Über verschiedene Schnittstellen lassen sich Daten importieren, auslesen oder ändern und somit andere Systeme integrieren. Durch meine Arbeit bei einem ISP habe ich mich mit genau diesem Thema beschäftigt und will meine Erkenntnisse gerne teilen. Überzogen! Das glaubt doch kein Mensch!“ Eine Heilpraktikerin animiert Reichsbürger & QAnon-Jünger zum „Sturm auf den Reichstag“, inmitten einer globalen Pandemie wird vor dem Brandenburger Tor „Hare Krishna“ gegen Maskenpflicht getanzt und an Waldorfschulen entstehen Corona-Hotspots weil Eltern Sorge haben, ihre Kinder könnten nicht etwa durch ein neuartiges Virus, sondern durch „CO2-Rückatmung“ geschädigt werden. In jedem Pandemie-Katastrophenfilm läutet die Entdeckung einer wirksamen Impfung zuverlässig das Happy End ein. In der Realität ist es nicht ganz so einfach. Eine Schweizer Sekte produziert am Fließband Videos über die „Wahrheit“ hinter der Impfung. Auf YouTube wird geraten einfach positiv zu denken, um sich zu immunisieren. Im Herzen der Anthroposophie, dem Goetheanum, wird über spirituelle Verständigung mit Viren philosophiert. Gerade in der Eso-Szene stellen sich nun viele Fragen. Beeinflusst die Spritze die „Wirkung“ von Homöopathie? Ist eine Infektion nicht doch besser für das Karma? Ländliche Regionen, unterliegen seit vielen Jahren einem stetigen Wandel. Oft gehen hier Landflucht und Stadtflucht auf scheinbar gegensätzliche Weise Hand in Hand. Dort wo der ÖPNV und die Glasfaser schon angekommen sind, zieht es die Städter hin. Der Wiederaufbau der IT-Infrastruktur der Landkreisverwaltung Anhalt-Bitterfeld wird sich noch bis weit in das Jahr 2022 ziehen. Was es mit sich bringt, eine Landkreisverwaltung nach einem Ransomware Angriff im laufenden Betrieb neu aufzubauen, welche Priorisierungen vorgenommen werden mussten und welche Auswirkungen es für die Anspruchsgruppen hat, wenn eine öffentliche Verwaltung Offline geht. Informationssuchende Menschen verheddern sich im Gewirr widersprüchlicher Zahlen und verlieren die Übersicht, welche davon Aussagekraft haben oder warum drei Stellen drei unterschiedliche Werte melden. Bei allen herrscht große Verunsicherung, ob der Weg, den wir nun gerade beschreiten, der Richtige ist und was die Zukunft bringt. Damit der Kampf gegen Windmühlenflügel etwas an Fahrt aufnimmt, möchte ich möglichst viele Menschen in die Lage versetzen, Informationen mit einem überschaubaren Arbeitsaufwand besser bewerten zu können. Denn Falschinformationen sind weder harmlos noch irrelevant. Falschinformationen führen dazu, dass der Einzelne schlechte Entscheidungen trifft oder das Fällen einer Entscheidung verzögert. Die Hilfsangebote werden auf einer Webseite veröffentlicht, sodass Lehrkräfte und Schulleitungen individuell passende Programme für ihre Unterrichtssituation auswählen und sich bei Gleichgesinnten informieren können. We are 25 researchers across nine time zones who aim to find out how the coronavirus works - on an atomic level. The virus is made up of molecules and when you understand how they work - bind to a host cell, copy the viral RNA, build new viruses - you can combat the COVID-19 pandemic with drugs and vaccines. This is what we aim to do. We usually develop the computational methods with which structural biologists interpret their experiments. When they solve a new molecular structure from Corona, it is deposited online. We, in turn, then download, evaluate, improve and put it into context. Our data were used among others by IBM OpenPandemics, Folding@Home (when it reached 2,4 exaFLOPS) and the EU JEDI Initiative. In the course of our work, we also developed the scientifically most accurate 3D-printable virus model, animated the entry into host cells and inform the public about SARS-CoV-2. Other than in “normal” research projects, we came together without funding but by the power of spontaneous willingness; we are mostly junior researchers and some team members never met in person. Make changes so it is possible to live and work on the countryside while also ensuring food security and a sustainable reboot for agriculture? Challenging the big food factories and supporting biodiversity? The skandinvian grass root movement reko has some answers and hopes to inspire. A short story of how to spark change to a small rural community. The idea came from Finland where the first Reko groups have existed since 2013. Reko means rejäl konsumption which translates to real consumption. The idea is to bring together producers and consumers for food and raw products. Directly without hands in the middle. Locally produced, bought by the people that will eat it. Meeting each other for the exchange of products. Reko supports values like local food production, combined with trust, a passion for exciting ingredients and a love for small scale production. The groups are open for everyone. Through direct contact between consumers and producers a reliability is built. Consumers can ask detailed questions about the ways their food is produced. They get a different level of appreciation really knowing where it is coming from.It makes them able to buy products that are not available in stores and getting products as fresh as possible. Industrielle Landwirtschaft und Nahrungsmittelproduktion haben einen Anteil von ca. 30% der globalen Treibhausgasemissionen - dazu kommt Artensterben, Verlust von fruchtbarem Boden etc. Eine Lösung für diese Misere stellen Waldgärten dar: Waldgarten ist eine Wirtschaftsweise in der landwirtschaftlichen Nahrungsmittelproduktion: auf mehreren Etagen werden für uns nutzbare Pflanzen angebaut, so dass ein komplexes und reichhaltiges Netz an Lebensräumen für Pflanzen, Tiere, Mikroorganismen entsteht. Hier besteht hoher Artenreichtum, die natürlichen Räuber-Beute-Verbindungen ermöglichen es, Waldgärten ohne Spritzmittel und künstliche Dünger zu kultivieren; es wird massiv Humus aufgebaut, dadurch CO2 eingelagert, was die Umkehrung des Klima-Wandels bedeuten kann! So wird das lokale Klima stabilisiert, Wasser gehalten, Erosion verhindert, soziale Verbindung aufgebaut ... uuund super gesunde Nahrungsmittel lokal erzeugt. Diese Art Nahrungsmittel zu produzieren ist schon sehr alt und war weit verbreitet, historische Beispiele gibt es aus dem „Urwald“ in Afrika und Nordamerika, aus den traditionellen Hausgärten in Chile und aus Indien. Auch hier bei uns sollte das Prinzip Waldgarten funktionieren; wir starten den Versuch das umzusetzen, weil die Landwirtschaft eine tiefgreifende Reformation braucht. Dazu betreiben wir seit mehreren Jahren einen Waldgarten im Senegal und seit kurzem einen bei Berlin. Warum ist das nun interessant für „Nerds“? A: wir benötigen alle ein funktionierendes Ökosystem zum Überleben (there is no Planet B) & B: ein Waldgarten ist ein höchst komplexes System, hochgradig vernetzt, miteinander dependent und stabil. Das macht es sehr spannend, das System zu modellieren. Wir wollen euch dieses Anbausystem vorstellen und euch dafür begeistern, die darin liegenden Möglichkeiten durch euer KnowHow zu unterstützen. Aktuell nutzen wir händische Tools, OpenSourceGIS, Videodrohne und Zettel, um die Schönheit der Natur zu erfassen und in eine positive Zukunft zu planen. Wir suchen Wege, dieses System als assoziative Netze zu modellieren, um es mit Live-Daten zu füttern, um damit später automatisiert zu planen und den Soll/Ist-Abgleich zu monitoren. Zum Einsatz kommen können GIS-Systeme, OpenSource-Hardware für Bodensensoren und Klimamessstationen, Weltenmodellierung, Robotik und Copter, Tauschsysteme ... alles als OpenSource, OpenData, vernetzte dezentrale Systeme mit dezentraler Pflege und möglichst automatisiertem Datengrabbing. In this joint talk, four internet freedom advocates will expose and criticize current plans for general mass collection of everyone's communication data. 2022 will bring threats to Internet freedoms but also opportunities for civil society to act. From an digital fundamental rights perspective this is not acceptable. Because sensitive communication and activity data from millions of law-abiding citizens would be retained for no specific purpose. Democratic societies and liberal constitutional states must not enforce blanket mass surveillance. The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has repeatedly emphasized this and declared general data retention to be lawful only in limited exceptions. The default must be: no general data retention. Nevertheless, from documents and the political debate the impression arises, that the Commission of the European Union and some governments of the Member States are trying to run over the rulings of the ECJ and fundamental rights. The medical world is improving at rapid speed - say the magic words “personalized medicine”. This talk will provide some background on the use of DNA sequencing/other kinds of sequencing/other molecules used as markers for a potential disease. There are a multitude of gene-based diagnostic tests on the market and this is only the beginning. The prospect of whole-genome sequencing for everyone is on the horizon, but what are the implications? We touch upon ethical issues regarding risk and prognosis of disease (who needs to know?) or storage and use of your personal health records and sequencing data. As part of a company providing support to bring gene-signature based diagnostics to the market, I have full exposure to the scientific discovery, validation process and influence of multiple stakeholders in the diagnostic field. Not only are some diseases hard to diagnose without checking on a molecular level, we can also give a better prognosis or choose the right treatment for your type of condition. And who would not want to know whether they inherited some “difficult genes” from their parents? What else do your molecules tell about you and what could anyone else possibly do with that information? I’d like to bring some awareness to the audience about the potential of sequencing-based technology in health and disease and the issues it might bring along, which are of bigger concern and much closer to reality than “choosing the ideal genes for your baby”. Diese Frage habe ich über 40 Personen gestellen - und über ihre Antworten ein Buch geschrieben. #Autokorrektur hat dabei nichts mit "Autohass" zu tun - obwohl mir das immer wieder unterstellt wird - sondern mit der Frage, wie Automobilität zur Voraussetzung zur Teilhabe werden konnte - und wie wir das zugunsten aller ändern können. Hallo! Mein Name ist Katja und ich wende den Verkehr. Das ist hochpolitisch, weil ich nicht nur auf Technik schaue, sondern mich für eine Mobilität einsetze, die die Bedürfnisse aller Menschen berücksichtigt – Menschen mit Behinderung, Kinder, Menschen auf dem Land und in der Stadt, Frauen, Männer, nicht-binäre Menschen, BIPoC." In meiner Vorstellung der Zukunft können die Menschen Auto fahren, so sie es denn wollen. Sie müssen es aber nicht mehr – denn es gibt attraktive Alternativen. Ich möchte Lust machen auf eine Gesellschaft, die gemeinsam eine attraktive und klimafreundliche Zukunft für alle baut. Ab heute. Gesichtserkennung, Proteine, Go, tanzende Roboter. Künstliche Intelligenz hangelt sich von Höhepunkt zu Höhepunkt. Im Narrativ der Fortschrittsgläubigen und Hurra-Optimistischen hat die mathematische Beschreibung der Welt nur eine Richtung: nach vorne, aber mit Gewalt. Gewalt hingegen ist es, was durch diese Beschreibungen ausgeführt, in ihnen festgeschrieben und unter dem Deckmantel der vermeintlichen Neutralität legitimiert wird. Jenseits von lustig werden die Roboter von Boston Dynamics mittlerweile stolz als Waffensysteme präsentiert, lehnen Algorithmen scheinbar willkürlich Kreditanträge ab und helfen Verdächtige in den Knast zu bringen. Ob die was getan haben, nebensächlich. Was also ist ist ein Algorithmus wert, der die Herrschaft beschreibt? Was eine Intelligenz, die nur das Gestern reproduzieren kann? Careables started with a question, if we are all different, why do we care for everyone the same?! This question started a four-year-long project that focused on making healthcare systems more open and accessible to people with different needs and backgrounds. Careables are healthcare devices co-designed in a collaborative ecosystem where people become creators, not only innovation users. In our case, patients, their families, healthcare professionals and designers are involved in the co-design process as experts in their specific environments. Using Digital Fabrication and technology, Careables devices are produced and then made available through open knowledge documentation on the careables.org platform for others to replicate and customize to their specific needs. During this presentation, visitors will take a tour of our Online Careables Exhibition, where they will see first-hand the devices our partners created from around the world. This will be followed by a Talk and Q&A session on how Careables evolved during this last year in different countries from the Global South and how the opensource making experience can change the future of health and care. Careables invites you to a VR meet-up at our new online exhibition to talk about Open Health and the maker movement. Careables supports the creation of open source and inclusive health care devices that are customizable to people's actual needs and are locally produced. Often patients use care solutions that do not fit their needs in terms of use, cost or aesthetics. Careables offers a platform for sharing open healthcare blueprints, including detailed documentation on facilitating the replication and adaptation of these technologies. Careables supports the creation of open source and inclusive healthcare devices that are customizable to people's health needs, using a participatory approach. It's a bottom-up digital social innovation focused on patients, healthcare professionals and makers. Careables methodology relies upon co-designing open-source health devices by implementing workshops, prototyping series, and innovation training targeting actors from healthcare, allowing these professionals to work together with other experts to find unique solutions. Careables Moving Exhibition showcased in more than ten cities worldwide and is NOW available online in its Virtual form on Gather Town. The Online Exhibition takes us inside Engineering Good Makerspace in Singapore, where visitors learn more about Careables history and how it evolved in different makerspaces around the globe.
