Show Notes

A quick dive into best practices including but not limited to semantic HTML and aria attributes and how they can make your website usable by a wider audience with relatively low effort. Most people who build websites tend to do that because they want other people to use those websites.<br/> Sadly it is rather common that little to no effort is put into making that possible for disabled users.<br/> In this talk I want to show that it actually isn’t too difficult to build more accessible web sites by "getting the low hanging fruit" first.<br/> Generally most of the stuff shown here can be implemented in an existing website without throwing away the existing design or doing a whole rewrite. about this event: https://pretalx.rc3.studio/rc3-channels-2020/talk/NVCE9A/
