Participants in the CrimethInc. ex-Workers Collective present:Did Mikhail Bakunin really threaten to take the paintings out of the museum and put them on the barricades in Dresden in 1849? Is it true that anarchism played a fundamental role in the emergence of queer liberation movements and trans identity? In this presentation, drawing on years of historical research and previously little-known sources, we will share startling new answers to those questions and discuss what role historical research can play in anarchist theory and strategy. If you are involved in anarchist historical research, please come prepared to announce your field of inquiry so we can all make contact and learn from each other.
