Dr. Koren, Associate Professor of Medieval Jewish Culture and the Dr. Norman J. Cohen Chair for an Emerging Scholar at HUC-JIR, received her PhD from Yale University in Medieval Studies. Her research focuses primarily on Jewish women’s spirituality and Jewish-Christian relations in the Middle Ages. She regularly teaches courses on medieval Jewish philosophy, history, and the Zohar.

Co-founder of Kehilat Hadar and winner of the first Grinspoon Foundation Social Entrepreneur Fellowship, Rabbi Tucker was named one of America’s Top 50 Rabbis by Newsweek in 2011 and 2012. He is the co-author of Gender Equality and Prayer in Jewish Law and hosts the podcast Responsa Radio.
