- If you call Jesus Lord, you are a threat to Satan; he makes relentless attempt to destroy those in Christ but does not have free reign- Jesus did not deliver Peter, but said “I’ll be praying for you.”- You will be sifted; know scripture and know God is faithful so you don’t feel punished by God; it is a part of the faith- When Jesus comes into your life you get victory, righteousness, wisdom, redemption, and sanctification; but also the privilege to be persecuted, tested, sifted- God saves a soul for one reason: for His namesake- You are helpless and need God’s holy spirit- Don’t ever claim a gift; He gives gifts; we must be emptied of our spiritual confidence- Faith is not a tool to work things out, only to believe...
