Notes: - God didn't intend for His children to be unsure - When man fell in the garden, a sense of self-righteousness rose up - Everyone is either a child of the devil or a child of God... can't switch back and forth - A child of the devil doesn’t want to please God; a child of God will fall but will keep returning to God under the spirit's conviction - Everyone is someone’s slave... and prisoner - If you believe Jesus is the Son of God, savior, risen from the dead, then you are saved - None of us has it all together all the time; the jackass gene wants to do its own thing... we need grace, mercy, the holy spirit - The devil abuses; a father (God) chastens and rebukes... scourges - On your best day, without the righteousness of Jesus, you stink - We have nothing to glory in but Jesus Christ
