Notes:- Live in the liberty Christ gives- David humbled his soul with fasting- Cannot hear from God if my soul is bent toward the world- Cannot get direction from God until you've prayed and fasted- When you pray and fast you don't miss God's will- The devil will do anything to deceive you when fasting- Fasting is to crucify the flesh... if I'm not hungrier for Jesus then something went awry- We start with good intentions...then we argue or glory in the accomplishment- It's not what you put in your body but what comes from your heart- If you feel condemnation it is not of Jesus- I'm not to be your judge... to tell you how to seek God- Bear one another's burdens- When we fast we are coughing it up... emotions, feelings... rooting up what distances us from God- What you think is a weakness in your life may be your strength- Galatians... people moved into legalism. Cannot trust Jesus and keep the law. Law give to Israel, not gentiles.
