Notes:- What God has chosen, men have rejected- Because of Jesus, we are able to offer spiritual sacrifice to God; we are built up and increased as we do- We are a holy priesthood who can approach the throne of God- Jesus' blood is applied to us so we no longer shed the blood of animals- We need a broken spirit, humility: spiritual sacrifice- God acknowledges my achievements, but he blesses my sacrifices- God doesn't look at what you give, but what you've left after giving- Live with dependence on God; bless others with what He gives and he will take care of you- Arrogance turns people off; humility impresses people- Praise is a spiritual sacrifice- The Lord will lift you up (example of dog)- Acts of goodness, kindness are spiritual sacrifice
