Notes:- It is impossible for one who trusts in riches or anything other than Jesus to enter heaven- Disciples astonished; wealthy considered to have favor of God, much like prosperity teachings of today- No effort on man's part can qualify for salvation; with Him all things are possible- Economic distress, God will not fail you, no need to panic- The more money we have, the more we trust it- Amaziah, king of Judah, teams with God's enemies out of panic- Opportunities to progress, hypocrisy/duplicity in the church- People try to do business by the world's standards, yet be holy- God is able to give much more than this, the world
