There is no time of prayer that leaves you the same way. When you spend time praying, your physical strength might deplete, but your spiritual strength is built.

Every service and every time we gather should be for the equipping of ministers. All ministry gifts should have a fundamental task, which is the equipping of saints for the ministry. Sound doctrine may many times need to be endured and rebuked 2 Tim 4:1-3

When it comes to the things of God, a serious approach is required and just like we sit up for our academics, the Word of God is worth much more attention.

It is the duty of man to constantly commit to building an interest in a thing or activity and this principle also applies to the Word of God.

The Power of One Matthew 25:31-40 It is part of Christian training to know that everything you do to the brethren or the church, is to God. If you do it to the least of the brethren, it is unto the Lord. Matthew 18:6 We should not wait till we are incentivized to come to church but be motivated by just the word of our reality in Christ, the sacrifice of Christ. Strictly speaking, the requirement for joining the body of Christ was belief in Christ. “For as many as believed, their numbers were added to the church.” You can’t claim to be saved and be indifferent to God’s word and the saints. Any faith that makes no sense in the face of trial is no faith at all. One proof of your faith is the ability to endure.

We can build our spiritual growth by trusting in God and knowing we can command our desires

One of the most emotional texts in the scriptures is John 21:15-17 for these reasons: 1. This was the first time Jesus spoke to Peter after he betrayed him. 2. Jesus had just risen from the dead. Jesus wanted Peter to prove his love for Him by caring for his sheep. If Jesus is indeed the love of our life, we must see that the church is a big deal to him. Hence we can establish two things from John 21:15-17 1. Corporate worship * Church is a group of reverent, obedient, and committed people gathering together regularly. * As believers, what we have in common must bring us together regularly. * We can't claim to love Jesus and be indifferent about the church. * There's no such thing as an Individual follower of Christ. We must all belong to a body. 2. Spiritual leadership * To follow Jesus requires humility, gentleness, and willingness to take instructions from His word. * Jesus required the disciples to tarry together (Luke 24:49) * Faith in Jesus must also be accompanied by love for the saints. Three uncommon marks of a local church. 1. Proximity (Acts 2:46 ). God wants your fellowship to be close to your house as much as possible for accountability reasons. 2. Out-of-church fellowship. It is important that you have people in your space who share your faith. We all need spiritual support at some point in our lives. 3. Corporate prayer and corporate power. The power of God has a multiplier effect when we come together.

The good news is this; in the new creation, God has restored man to his factory settings. Now, by his spirit within, you have the capacity to hear God and do miraculous things again. What a grace & privilege!

Just as working out in the gym takes consistency, so does exercising ourselves toward godliness. 1 Tim 4:7

Prayer is an anchor, it is for strengthening. You know you are strengthened when the word of God makes you come alive and encourages you. Acts 15:5-32

Our symbol of Hope is Christ’s resurrection. This hope is informed by and founded on the living Christ. It is alive! We have an anchor.

Fatherhood was always God's idea. He always wanted a large family, and He wants us to be part of that family. He is our Daddy, and we're not His only children. He has a big family and we have many siblings. Every family has goals, and as members of God's family, there are things we ought to know: - Christ is the head of the church. -Spiritual leadership was Christ's idea. Ephesians 4:12-12. - Love for the saints: We must have brotherly affection for one another. - Growth in knowledge. Ephesians 1:16-18 - Service. We must discern our role in the body of Christ and contribute. Ephesians 4:16. - Expand the family. God's will is to have all men saved (1 Timothy 2:4), so we must know and execute our role to expand His family.

The guilt of not praying enough is one thing that stops people from praying. So, there must be a conviction of who God is and who you are in him.

Prayer goes hand in hand with supplication. Supplication is a heartfelt request.

Fellowship happens with people who have things in common and because we have the Holy Ghost, we can contribute. The true test of koinonia is contribution.

“A broken and A contrite heart”.📌(Psalm 51:17)This means that more than the duration, the eloquence, and the fervency, the posture of your heart matters before God.

Everyone who has a prayer life has a period where they don’t feel like praying. But they push past it.

When you are conscious that God is your loving Father, you can pray with confidence. The Holy Spirit is our guarantee that God hears us when we pray.

In literal theological terms, you cannot glorify God because Jesus is already glorified, but you can esteem Him in your life. You do this by prioritizing Him in worship, prayer, devotion, communication, association, and every area of your life.

The Bible is replete with examples of people who walked in faith; if you want to learn faith, look out for the people who are walking in it and learn from them.

True worship begins at the cross. It is at acknowledging what Jesus did and that He is Lord.

The zeal of the Lord will sometimes test your patience. Delay indicates something great or special is coming.

Purpose makes you tenacious. You begin to direct your purpose when you come to a realization of confidence in purpose

Living in purpose means I must be able to lay aside pleasure and privileges for a greater good.

Our number one defense against the devil is information (we can be prayerful and ignorant). We are as powerful as we are knowledgeable. If we won't be ignorant of the devil's scenes, we must be knowledgeable.

Dominion without the spirit is dangerous, while the spirit without dominion would be mediocre. We must find positions of influence for the gospel.

Prayer has a cumulative effect, the effect is measured over a period of time not just in an instance. It is the heartfelt and continued prayer of the righteous that makes power available.

Purpose is that one thing for which you were created and in which you must succeed. Otherwise, other things you succeed at would not count.

The ultimate goal of the Holy Spirit is governance. What the Spirit has achieved in you, he wants to achieve in your territory through you.

Generosity must show the worship of Christ. He gave all to me so I’ll give all back to him. If you believe in the gospel and it will show in your generosity.

Financial stewardship comes with the consciousness that all you have is from God. Therefore, you must honour God with how you use his resources.
