BOSTON -- Joined by the filmmaker, Marcus Mizelle, Max hands over the interviewing reigns and allows Marcus to interview him. Marcus Mizelle and Maxwell have a unique bond. Both are from the sleepy town of Kinston, NC.

 

Additionally, Mizelle is the director of the documentary short Something in the Water: A Kinston Basketball Story, about all the extraordinary basketball talent the comes from Kinston.

 

Cornbread, having led UNCC to an unlikely NIT championship runner up, and winning 2 #NBA championships & a Finals MVP, is arguably the greatest Kinston native.
