Today we’re diving into a powerful word preached by Pastor Luis Guzman titled “Active Faith.”
Our scripture readings come from Matthew 8:5–10 and Luke 8:40–45 — two incredible moments where faith and healing collide. In one story, a Roman centurion believes Jesus can heal his servant with just a word. In the other, a woman suffering for twelve years presses through the crowd just to touch the hem of His garment.
What do these two stories have in common? They show us that faith is not passive — it moves. It reaches. It believes before seeing. And it activates the power of God.
