Sources tell CBS News the dockworkers strike impacting East and Gulf Coast has ended for now, with both sides reaching a tentative agreement that will last through Jan. 15, 2025. Nearly half of all Americans experiencing homelessness are in California. In Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass has launched a new program repurposing empty motels and city-owned properties to move people indoors and clear encampments for good.
