February 2022 marks the 79th anniversary of the heroic deaths of the Four Chaplains, ministers of different faiths and denominations who gave up their life vests to fellow soldiers on board the SS Dorchester as it sank in the North Atlantic after a German submarine torpedoed the troop transport ship with more than 900 aboard.
