In this Sunday’s message, Pastor Andrew preaches from Song of Solomon 2:8–13 on the call of the Bridegroom to His bride: “Rise up, My love, My fair one, and come away.” The Song of Solomon may seem like just a love story between a man and a woman, but Paul reminds us: “first the natural, then the spiritual” (1 Corinthians 15:46). As a child of God, it is imperative that we walk our christian walk with fresh oil. In Psalms 92 we read, "but my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil." Too often we find ourselves relying on an experience from yesterday. COVID-19 has brought to the forefront the importance of hand sanitation. We have always known that clean hands are important, but ever since the world was plagued with the pandemic last year, it seems we are all more conscientious of the bacteria and germs we pick up on our hands.
