Freedom Fighters (John 8) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
Freedom Fighters | John 8:31–36 | Walking in the Liberty Christ Purchased In this powerful message, “Freedom Fighters,” Pastor Andrew Eldridge takes us deep into John 8:31–36, revealing Jesus’ call for believers to walk in true spiritual liberty—not someday in heaven, but here and now. Many Christians quote “the truth shall make you free,” but Jesus teaches that freedom begins with continuing in His Word (v.31). Before truth sets us free, we must first abide—remain in, dwell in, and live by the Word of God. Freedom is not accidental; it is the fruit of discipleship. Using the powerful illustration of the American Revolution freedom fighters, Pastor Andrew reminds us that liberty is never won by passivity. Freedom must be pursued. Jesus—the ultimate Freedom Fighter—organized, strategized, sacrificed, and secured our victory on the cross. Now He calls us to stand fast in the liberty He purchased (Galatians 5:1). Throughout this message, we explore: 🔥 VERSE-BY-VERSE THROUGH JOHN 8:31–36 v31 — Continue in the Word Freedom begins with abiding in Scripture. Disciples aren’t just believers—they are followers, learners, and doers. v32 — Knowing & Applying the Truth Truth must be walked out. It’s not enough to know it intellectually; it must transform our lives. v33 — The Deception of Denial The Pharisees claimed they were never in bondage—despite a long history of bondage in Scripture. Many Christians today fall into the same trap. v34–35 — Sin Enslaves, Grace Empowers Sin is a cruel master, but grace is the power to live free—not a license to remain bound. v36 — Free Indeed Whom the Son sets free is free in reality, experience, identity, and daily life. ⸻ 🏹 A CALL TO RISE UP Too many believers live bruised, defeated, and waiting for heaven to finally be free. But Jesus declared in Luke 4:18 that freedom begins today. Bondage is not always the “big sins.” It hides in jealousy, anger, insecurity, depression, anxiety, tradition, and self-deception. But Christ has already broken the chains. This message calls God’s people to rise up as Freedom Fighters—refusing the lies of the enemy and embracing the victory Jesus purchased. ⸻ 📖 KEY SCRIPTURES John 8:31–36 (KJV) Galatians 5:1 Luke 4:18–21 2 Corinthians 10:3 Romans 7:14–15 Psalm 1; Joshua 1:8; Titus 2:11–12; Romans 6:1–2 ⸻ 🙏 If this message blessed you… Please like, share, and subscribe to help spread the Gospel. The God Who Is Love (1 John 4) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
In Everything Give Thanks (1 Thes 5) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thess. 5:18, NKJV) In this message, Pastor Andrew unpacks what it really means to live with a spirit of thanksgiving — not just one week in November, but every day of the believer’s life. Scripture calls us to something far deeper than seasonal gratitude: a lifestyle where thanksgiving becomes the posture of our hearts, no matter what is happening around us. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, Colossians 3:15–17; 4:2, Ephesians 5:19–20, Habakkuk 3:17–18, and Jonah 2, we explore: 🕊 Thanksgiving in Daily Life – Letting the peace of God rule our hearts, letting the Word of Christ dwell richly, and doing everything “in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks.” 🙌 Thanksgiving in Worship – Why true worship is incomplete without gratitude, and how thanksgiving becomes both praise and warfare in God’s presence. 🔥 Thanksgiving in Trouble – Learning to say “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord” like Habakkuk, and to thank God from the “belly of the fish” like Jonah—before the breakthrough comes. You’ll be challenged to move beyond emotion-based gratitude and into a deeper, steadier thanksgiving rooted in who God is and what He’s already done in Christ. When thanksgiving becomes who you are—not just what you do—the peace of God rules your heart, your prayer life is transformed, and your worship gains a new depth. 📖 Key Scriptures: 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18; Colossians 3:15–17; Colossians 4:2; Ephesians 5:19–20; Philippians 2:14; Habakkuk 3:17–18; Jonah 2:9–10; Psalm 95:2; Psalm 118:28–29; Hebrews 13:15 If this message encourages you, be sure to like, share, and subscribe so you don’t miss future sermons from our Growing in Knowing series.
The Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 6) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
He Who Began the Work (Philippians 2) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
Many believers today live caught between two extremes—sinless perfection on one side and greasy grace on the other. Both distort the gospel and leave Christians confused, insecure, or exhausted by performance-based religion. But Scripture gives us a better way. In this message, Pastor Andrew looks deeply at Paul’s words in Philippians 2:12–13, where he calls us to “work out” what God Himself is working in us. You’ll discover the freedom that comes when holiness is understood not as human effort, but as Spirit-empowered transformation. We confront the fears that plague many believers: • “What if I sin and don’t realize it?” • “What if I’m not good enough?” • “What if God is disappointed in me?” We also expose the bondage of legalism: • The idea that you must maintain your salvation through performance • The fear that God withdraws whenever you stumble • The belief that weakness means God is finished with you And we confront the imbalance of cheap grace that ignores sanctification altogether. Through Scripture, we walk through: • Why struggle does not mean you’re lost • What it truly means to be “perfect” as Jesus commanded • The difference between reverent fear and terror • Why believers should not live afraid of hell • How grace not only saves—but keeps, teaches, enables, and transforms • How the Holy Spirit causes us to walk in obedience • Why spiritual maturity—not flawlessness—is God’s goal for your life Above all, you’ll be reminded of this truth: The God who began the good work in you will complete it. This message is for the believer who wants clarity… for the struggling Christian who feels unworthy… for the weary saint trapped in legalism… and for anyone longing to walk in grace, assurance, and Spirit-empowered holiness. If God started it, God will sustain it—and God will finish it. Subscribe for more messages of hope, truth, and Spirit-filled teaching. Like, comment, and share to spread the Word!
The God You Know (Colossians 1) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
In this message, Pastor Andrew begins a vital new series that will carry us all the way to Christmas: Growing in Knowing. This first message — “The God You Know” — lays the foundation for what may be one of the most important studies our church has walked through. In Colossians 1:9–10, Paul prays that believers would be “filled with the knowledge of His will… increasing in the knowledge of God.” That prayer reveals a stunning truth: it is possible to believe in God, attend church, and even serve — and still not truly know Him. In this message, Pastor Andrew confronts one of the greatest crises of the modern church: 👉 Many know about God, but few know the God of Scripture. 👉 Some build their view of God from wounds. 👉 Others from culture or fear. 👉 Many cling to a single attribute while ignoring the fullness of His character. But you cannot walk worthy of a God you do not know. You cannot worship a God you have redefined. You cannot reflect a God you have distorted. Today we explore: • The danger of building your faith on a lopsided view of God • Why knowing God requires embracing both His goodness and severity (Romans 11:22) • How culture, emotion, and tradition are reshaping God into an idol of preference • Why Scripture is the only true revelation of who God truly is • How the church has drifted — and why we must return to the whole counsel of God We’ll also examine sobering real-world examples and statistics showing how far the modern church has drifted from biblical truth — revealing that the greatest threat is not persecution, but perversion and apostasy. MAIN POINTS: 1️⃣ We Cannot Walk Worthy Without Knowing God 2️⃣ God Wants to Be Known 3️⃣ Knowing God Produces Fruitfulness As we launch this series, prepare your heart. Prepare your mind. Prepare your spirit. Because the God you think you know will determine the life you choose to live — and in this hour, the church must rediscover the God of the Bible, not the god of culture, tradition, or personal preference. 🔥 Join us as we return to Scripture, reject distortions, and behold God as He has revealed Himself — holy, loving, merciful, righteous, and sovereign.
Standing In The Gap (Ezekiel 22) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” — Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV) In this powerful message, “Standing in the Gap,” Pastor Andrew dives into God’s heartbreaking search for an intercessor — someone willing to step into the breach and contend for a people, a generation, and a nation. From the Hebrew word perets (breach, break, gap), we learn that a “gap” in Scripture represents vulnerability and spiritual exposure. Where there is a breach, the enemy finds access. But God’s heart is always restoration — to repair the breach, rebuild the ruins, and restore what has fallen (Isaiah 58:12; Amos 9:11). In this message we explore: 🔹 What Is a Gap? • How spiritual breaches form through sin, compromise, prayerlessness, and disobedience • Why the enemy looks for “open cracks” in our lives, homes, and churches • The call to stand, not run, in the evil day (Ephesians 6:10–13) 🔹 What Is Intercession Really? • Intercession as more than “bless me” prayers • Standing between judgment and mercy, between God and man • Travailing prayer, Spirit-birthed intercession, and why it is costly but powerful 🔹 The Cost of Standing in the Gap • Intercession requires leadership, time, and energy • Sacrifice of comfort and even sleep (Matthew 26:40; Mark 1:35; Psalm 63:1) • Purity of motive and persistent faith when answers delay (Matthew 6:6; Hebrews 11:6) 🔹 The Power Released When We Stand • How Spirit-led intercession partners with the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26) • Prayer that shakes places and emboldens believers (Acts 4:31) • “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16) At the close, you’ll be challenged with a direct call: • Will you stand in the gap for your family? • Will you stand in the gap for your church? • Will you stand in the gap for this nation? 🙏 God is still searching for intercessors in this late hour. Will He find you standing in the gap? ⸻ 📌 Subscribe for more sermons, teachings, and livestreams. 👍 Like, comment, and share this message with someone who needs this call to prayer.
Eye Has Not Seen (1 Corinthians 2) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” This message dives deep into one of the most powerful promises in Scripture — the truth that God has prepared things for His people that our natural eyes, ears, and minds can’t even begin to comprehend. In this sermon, Pastor Andrew Eldridge explores the dual revelation of this verse — the glory that awaits us in eternity, and the power and purpose God is revealing right now. Through Scripture, revelation, and encouragement, you’ll be reminded that: ✨ God is still acting, still moving, still preparing, and still revealing. ✨ True knowledge of God doesn’t come through intellect alone — it comes by revelation of the Spirit. ✨ Heaven isn’t the only place where blessing begins — the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is working in you today! ✨ The best is yet to come — in your life, your home, and in the Church! If you’ve been discouraged, weary, or wondering what’s next, this message will renew your hope and stir your faith to believe that eye has not seen what God has in store for those who love Him. 🔔 Subscribe for more sermons, teachings, and live messages from Shady Grove Church. 📅 Join us live Sundays at 10:30 AM and Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. 🌐 Learn more: [insert church website or social link] #EyeHasNotSeen #Sermon #1Corinthians #HolySpirit #Faith #TheBestIsYetToCome #ShadyGroveChurch #PastorAndrewEldridge #Revival #BiblePreaching #ChristianMotivation
Ministry that Matters (1 Thessalonians 2) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
📖 1 Thessalonians 2:1–13 (NKJV) “For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain.” (1 Thessalonians 2:1) In this message, Pastor Andrew Eldridge walks through 1 Thessalonians 2:1–13, where the Apostle Paul opens his heart to the church and lays out what it truly means to have ministry that matters. Paul’s words aren’t just a record of what he did — they reveal who he was: a faithful servant of God, marked by boldness, purity, gentleness, integrity, and complete dependence on the Word of God. In a world filled with ministries built on performance, popularity, and personality, God is calling His church back to faithfulness over fame — back to the kind of ministry that pleases Him rather than men. 🔥 In this sermon, you’ll discover: How boldness in ministry shines through suffering and conflict (1 Thessalonians 2:1–2) Why God calls us to serve with pure motives, seeking His approval above all else (vv. 3–4) The power of gentleness and sacrifice in leadership (vv. 5–8) The importance of being an example — walking the walk, not just talking the talk (vv. 9–12) How the Word of God transforms lives and fuels effective ministry (v. 13) 💬 “True ministry is not measured by applause but by faithfulness. Real ministry will cost you something — but the reward carries eternal weight and glory.” Whether you’re a pastor, teacher, worship leader, or just walking out your faith day by day, this message will challenge and encourage you to serve with integrity, humility, and conviction. 🕊️ Key Themes: Faithfulness over fame Boldness in adversity Purity in motive Servanthood and humility The transforming power of God’s Word 📅 Join us live every Sunday at 10:30 AM and Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. 🔔 Subscribe for more Spirit-filled sermons and teaching from Pastor Andrew Eldridge and Shady Grove Church. #MinistryThatMatters #1Thessalonians #PastorAndrewEldridge #FaithfulnessOverFame #Preaching #HolySpirit #BibleSermon #ShadyGroveChurch #Revival #Pentecostal #ChristianLeadership
Revive Us Again (Habakkuk 3) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
📖 Habakkuk 3:2 (NKJV) “O Lord, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.” Has Christianity become a badge more than a burden, a label more than a lifestyle? In this message, Pastor Andrew Eldridge calls the Church to return to holy hunger—from spectating to participating, from routine to encounter, from lukewarm to revived. This isn’t a plea for a new program. It’s the prophetic prayer of Habakkuk: “Lord, revive Your work.” Not something new—breathe on what already belongs to You. Revive Your people. Revive Your Church. Make Yourself known again in the midst of these years. What You’ll Hear Why revival starts in the sanctuary of the heart (Psalm 63:1–2) — not just attending, but encountering. The danger of lukewarm religion and the call to be doers of the Word, not hearers only. Context of Habakkuk 3: a nation grown cold, a prophet gripped with reverence, a prayer for mercy. Three Calls of Revival: Reawaken Our Ears — Tremble at His Word again (Prov. 1:7; Isa. 66:2; Rev. 2:7). Recenter Our Priorities — “Make it known” in our generation (Matt. 6:33; Jas. 4:8). Remember His Mercy — Judgment is real, but mercy bridges us back (Lam. 3:22–23; Ps. 85:6–7; Ezek. 37). Faith that God remembers — He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6). A pastoral, heartfelt charge: true appreciation isn’t applause or events—it’s a life on fire for God. Key Scriptures (NKJV) Habakkuk 3:2; Psalm 63:1–11; Psalm 34:3; James 1:22; Revelation 3:2; Haggai 1:5; Ephesians 2:10; Proverbs 1:7; Isaiah 66:2; Revelation 2:7; Matthew 6:33; James 4:8; Lamentations 3:22–23; Psalm 85:6–7; Ezekiel 37:10; Hebrews 11:6. Big Idea We’re not asking God to start something new—we’re asking Him to breathe again on what’s already His: our hearts, our homes, our habits, and His house. When He makes Himself known again, the weary are refreshed, the divided are united, and what was lifeless lives again. 🔔 Subscribe for more Spirit-filled preaching and teaching. 📅 Join us Sundays 10:30 AM & Wednesdays 7:00 PM. 🙌 Come hungry—let’s seek Him in the sanctuary and say together, “Lord, revive Your work!” #ReviveYourWork #Habakkuk3 #Revival #HolyHunger #Pentecostal #ShadyGroveChurch #PastorAndrewEldridge #Sanctuary #ReturnToYourFirstLove #BibleSermon #NKJV
The Baptism of The Holy Ghost (Acts 19) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
Back to the Basics (Part 6): The Baptism of the Holy Ghost 📖 Acts 19:1–6 Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? In this powerful message, Pastor Andrew Eldridge takes us back to the basics—to rediscover one of the most essential and often misunderstood foundations of Pentecostal faith: The Baptism of the Holy Ghost. In a generation that has heard about the Holy Spirit but not truly experienced His power, this message calls us to return to the fire, the fullness, and the freedom that the early church walked in. From Acts 19 to Acts 2, Pastor Andrew explores the difference between the indwelling of the Spirit at salvation and the baptism of the Spirit for empowerment. Every believer receives the Spirit when they are born again—but there is a second work of grace, a divine infilling that endues us with power from on high! This message will: 🔥 Clarify the difference between indwelling and infilling. 🔥 Teach the biblical evidence of the baptism — speaking in tongues. 🔥 Refute the idea that tongues and gifts have ceased. 🔥 Show how to operate in order and discernment when gifts are in use. 🔥 Invite every believer to seek a personal Pentecost at the altar. “At salvation, the Spirit is resident. At baptism, the Spirit becomes president.” You’ll hear how the Holy Ghost transforms ordinary believers into extraordinary witnesses—just like Peter, who went from denying Christ to declaring Him boldly before thousands. This is more than a doctrine. It’s a life-changing encounter. Whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for years or you’re new to faith, this message will reignite your hunger to say: “Lord, send the fire again!” 📍 Message Details Series: Back to the Basics (Part 6) Title: The Baptism of the Holy Ghost Speaker: Pastor Andrew Eldridge Scripture Text: Acts 19:1–6 Location: Shady Grove Church — Soddy-Daisy, TN ⸻ 💬 If this message blesses you: ✅ Like, Comment, and Subscribe ✅ Share this message with someone hungry for more of God ✅ Connect with us online @ [church website or Facebook page if applicable]
Unmasking The Darkness (Colossians 1) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
Back to The Word (Psalms 119) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
🔥 Revival doesn’t end at the altar—it’s sustained in the Word. This week, Pastor Andrew continues our Back to the Basics series with a powerful call to return to the foundation of all spiritual life: the Word of God. We’ve shouted, cried, and worshiped—but if revival doesn’t drive us deeper into God’s Word, it becomes a memory instead of a movement. In this message, Pastor Andrew reminds us that the Bible is not on trial in our generation… our generation is on trial before the Bible. 📖 Key Message Themes: The Word of God is perfect, unchanging, and infallible—it doesn’t evolve to fit culture; culture must bow to it. The Word is our lamp and our path—guiding us through confusion, fear, temptation, and decisions. The Word builds and strengthens us—producing maturity, stability, and spiritual resilience. The Word works—it creates, convicts, and accomplishes what God intends. The Word must be obeyed, not just admired—because faith without application fades. 🌿 Scripture References (NKJV): Psalm 119:89–90 • Romans 12:2 • Isaiah 40:8 • John 1:1–14 • 2 Timothy 3:16–17 • Hebrews 13:8 • Matthew 5:17–18 • Psalm 119:105 • Isaiah 30:21 • Philippians 4:6–7 • 1 Peter 2:2 • Isaiah 55:10–11 • James 1:22–25 and more. 💡 Key Quote: “Emotion can spark you, but only the Word can sustain you.” 🕊 Practical Challenge: 30-Day Word Plan: Read one Psalm + 10 verses from the Gospels daily. Journal one truth and one next step. Family Scripture at the Table: Read a verse before dinner; ask, “What does this show about God? What will we do with it?” Sword-in-Hand Sundays: Share how a verse guided your week. 🎯 Takeaway: If His Word is settled in heaven, let it be settled in your heart. If His Word is unchanging, let it be your standard. If His Word is living, let it shape your life. 🙏 Join us as we go Back to the Word—where true revival is sustained, lives are transformed, and the church becomes unshakable. — 📍 Shady Grove Church | Soddy-Daisy, TN 👤 Pastor: Andrew Eldridge 💬 Subscribe for weekly messages that build faith, strengthen families, and awaken hearts. #BackToTheBasics #BackToTheWord #ShadyGroveChurch #Revival #Faith #Bible #Sermon #Jesus #Scripture #Discipleship #ChristianLiving
Walk of Faith (Genesis 12) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
Faith is where it all begins. From the moment God called Abraham to leave everything familiar and step into the unknown, the life of faith was born. Today, the Spirit of the Lord is calling us back to the foundation of our walk with Him — a life built on complete trust and confidence in God. In this message, Pastor Andrew Eldridge takes us through the story of Abraham — the Father of Faith — to remind us that: • Faith begins with a call. God speaks first, and we respond. • Faith requires leaving in order to receive. Sometimes you must step out of what’s comfortable to walk into what’s promised. • Faith looks forward. God rarely shows us the whole picture, but He always gives us His word. • Faith obeys. True faith moves — it acts on what God has said, even when you don’t have all the answers. • Faith grows. Abraham’s journey wasn’t perfect, but he kept walking — and so must we. • Faith points us to Christ. The same faith that was counted to Abraham as righteousness is now fulfilled in Jesus. 📖 Key Scriptures: Genesis 12:1–4 | Hebrews 11:8–10 | Romans 4:20–21 | 2 Corinthians 5:7 | Hebrews 11:1, 6 | Proverbs 3:5–6 🎵 Worship with us and be strengthened to walk by faith, not by sight. 📍 Shady Grove Church — Soddy Daisy, TN 🕊 Pastor Andrew Eldridge 💬 Subscribe for more messages that inspire faith, stir revival, and call believers back to their first love — Jesus Christ. #Faith #Abraham #WalkingInFaith #BibleStudy #ChristianSermon #FaithInGod #Genesis12 #ShadyGroveChurch
The Spirit of Witchcraft (Galatians 5) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
When most people hear witchcraft, they think of witches, cauldrons, spells, and Halloween. But the Bible reveals something far deeper—and far more dangerous. Witchcraft isn’t just about the occult; it is a spirit of manipulation, rebellion, and counterfeit spirituality that seeks to infiltrate even the church. In this in-depth study, Pastor Andrew unpacks what Scripture really teaches about witchcraft, sorcery, and control. Together, we’ll look at: 📖 What witchcraft is (Galatians 5, Deuteronomy 18, Acts 16) 📖 How it operates—through manipulation, control, rebellion, and counterfeit power 📖 How even believers can unknowingly fall into it 📖 How to walk in freedom through Christ’s authority This message is both a warning and a call to discernment. The enemy seeks to control, but the Spirit of the Lord brings freedom. 🔔 Don’t miss this eye-opening teaching that will equip you to recognize and overcome the spirit of witchcraft in today’s world—and even within the church. 📌 Key Scriptures: Galatians 5:19–22, 1 Samuel 15:23, Deuteronomy 18:10–12, Acts 16:16, 2 Corinthians 3:17 👉 If this message blesses you, be sure to like, share, and subscribe to stay connected for more teachings.
Ep 1Who is God? (2 Peter 3) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
Who is God—really? Not just who He is to you, but who He declares Himself to be in His Word. In this message from 2 Peter 3:18, Pastor Andrew calls us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Too many believers stop at “Jesus is my Savior” and never go deeper. But Scripture urges us to study, to know His character, and to let Him reveal Himself—not to create our own definition. 📖 Key Themes from the Message: • The urgent call to grow in knowing God (2 Peter 3:18, 2 Timothy 2:15) • Why a shallow view of God leads to cultural confusion and New-Age ideas • Startling stats: Only 19% of Christians read the Bible daily, and 25% say they believe only in a vague “higher power.” • Six unchanging truths about God’s nature: 1. Holy – Revelation 4:8, 1 Peter 1:15–16 2. Omnipotent (All-Powerful) – Jeremiah 32:17, Luke 1:37 3. Omnipresent (Everywhere Present) – Psalm 139:7, Jeremiah 23:24 4. Omniscient (All-Knowing) – Hebrews 4:13, Psalm 139:1–2 5. Immutable (Unchanging) – Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8 6. Love – 1 John 4:7–10 💡
Come Away (Song of Solomon 2) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
In this Sunday’s message, Pastor Andrew preaches from Song of Solomon 2:8–13 on the call of the Bridegroom to His bride: “Rise up, My love, My fair one, and come away.” The Song of Solomon may seem like just a love story between a man and a woman, but Paul reminds us: “first the natural, then the spiritual” (1 Corinthians 15:46). Spiritually, this passage paints a powerful picture of Christ and His church. Just as the Bridegroom calls His bride, Jesus is calling His people today into intimacy with Him. In this message, Pastor Andrew challenges us with three calls: 1️⃣ Come away from the world – We cannot cling to the world and still pursue the presence of Christ. 2️⃣ Come away from religion – God is after relationship, not ritual. 3️⃣ Come away to the secret place – Beyond separation, Christ invites us into deep intimacy with Him. The season is changing. Winter is past. Flowers are appearing. The voice of the Beloved is calling: “Rise up, My love, and come away.” 📖 Key Scriptures: Song of Solomon 2:8–14 Isaiah 6:1–5 Romans 6:1–2 1 John 2:15–17 2 Corinthians 6:17 Matthew 6:6 Psalm 91:1 🙏 Whether you’re seeking renewal in your walk with Christ, healing in your marriage, or simply longing for more of His presence, this word is for you. The Bridegroom is calling—will you answer?
S1 Ep 1The Epistles Bible Study (Romans 2 & 3) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
Shady Grove Church – Study in Romans The book of Romans is one of the richest, most powerful, and most theologically profound letters in all of Scripture. Written by the Apostle Paul around A.D. 56, Romans provides a clear and orderly presentation of the gospel message—showing that both Jews and Gentiles alike are in need of salvation, and that justification comes by faith alone in Jesus Christ. In this video, Pastor Andrew walks through Romans chapter 2 and the beginning of chapter 3, where Paul addresses both Jews and Gentiles, showing that all are accountable before God. Having the Law is not enough—what matters is true righteousness, which comes only through faith in Christ. Together, we’ll explore: God’s impartial judgment of Jews and Gentiles alike (Romans 2:1–29) Why outward religion or heritage cannot save us How all humanity is guilty before God (Romans 3:1–12) The good news that justification is by faith, not by works We’ll also draw personal application from Paul’s message, including: ✅ Trusting Christ alone for salvation ✅ Rejecting self-righteousness ✅ Understanding God’s righteous judgment ✅ Rejoicing in the gospel that saves both Jew and Gentile Romans is more than theology—it’s the gospel applied to everyday life. Join us as we dive deep into this life-changing book and discover the righteousness of God revealed through faith in Christ.

S1 Ep 1Rivers of Revival (Isaiah 35:1-10) | Pastor Andrew Eldridge | Shady Grove Church, Soddy Daisy
🌊 Rivers of Revival | Isaiah 35:1–10 🌊 (Apologies that the beginning of this sermon starts abruptly) In this powerful message, Pastor shares from Isaiah 35 about God’s promise of restoration, joy, and revival.
