Hey carpool crew! 👋
Maybe you woke up today still feeling a little shaky from a bad dream, or maybe you’ve had a few nights recently where falling asleep felt scary. You’re not alone. On today’s Carpooling with Jesus, we’re continuing our October series, What Would Jesus Say About the Things That Scare Us?—and today’s fear is a nighttime one: scary dreams.
Proverbs 3:24 says, “When you lie down, you will not be afraid; you will lie down, and your sleep will be pleasant.” This is a promise reminding us that God gives peace even while we sleep. He doesn’t sleep or forget about us—He’s with us in the daylight and in the dark.
If Jesus were sitting at the end of your bed after a nightmare, He wouldn’t roll His eyes. He’d say, “I’m here. You’re safe. You can rest.” Today’s episode will help you learn how to respond when you wake up scared, what the Bible says about sleep and peace, and how to pray for calm when your dreams get scary.
