Dr Marilena Giannoudi discusses a career in Rehabilitation Medicine with Dr Oliver Isaac, a Registrar in Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr Oliver Isaac has a passion for Rehabilitation Medicine as it combines working out the best holistic management for individual patients in optimising function and helps society as a whole. Rehabilitation Medicine physicians work closely with other professionals to achieve this. Having been unsure of which career in medicine would be most suitable, Dr Oliver Isaac has an interest in helping other junior doctors to decide this. Dr Isaac also has an interest in improving health systems and public health, both of which have implications for the patient groups he is more involved with.
