Ep. 424 - It's the expectation of both general manager Steve Keim and head coach Kliff Kingsbury that linebackers Zaven Collins and Isaiah Simmons will start Week 1. “Two really fast trees” in the middle of the defense, according to Kingsbury. Craig Grialou and Mike Jurecki express some pros and cons to the plan, while also acknowledging the tremendous upside of the two young players, especially with defensive coordinator Vance Joseph pulling the strings, so to speak. First though, the guys give their first impressions of the three-day rookie minicamp held over the weekend.
