Victor Menasce’s company is based in Ottawa, Canada. He develops apartments, senior housing, and hospitality in several markets across North America, including Banff, Alberta, Louisiana, and Philadelphia.
Victor started his career as an electrical engineer designing weird and wonderful microprocessors in the telecom industry. He made the big switch to real estate because career burnout and traveling back and forth to Japan every two weeks was a strain on him and his family.
It was a sudden turn to leave the Silicon Valley world and march, head first into real estate!
Victor shares the difficult lessons learned from making that big shift to a totally different industry including:
