Overcoming the Odds: Learning to Love

God has a design and a plan for marriage. And in this marriage series, we're going to look through what it looks like to follow God's design. But it's not just for married people. In fact, the things that we talk through are going to apply to any relationship you may find yourself in. Now we will talk specifically about husbands and wives, and that's OK. The skills that we learn in that gymnasium will be valuable in other relationships as well. And I know that this could be difficult for you if you're unmarried … and you long to be. This may be difficult for you because divorce isn’t a theory; this is an experience that you've had. If you're widowed, it's going to be hard … but don’t push back or don't check out. Instead, I invite all of you to lean in and see how the things we're talking about will be valuable to you right now … even if you aren't in that marriage relationship.
